This includes: the publication of a new issue; the submissions window opening/closing; details of the conference and, occasionally, carefully selected news items from our supporting institutions, namely Lancaster University and Bath Spa University. Most of our reviewers have a specialist interest in writing for young people demonstrated by a research degree (MRes, MPhil or PhD) or a significant body of work as a practitioner. They are people who read scholarly work carefully and critically, but with a view to encouraging the next generation of writers and thinkers. We never ask reviewers to read more than two submissions a year.
