We will contact you to share news that is directly relevant to the business of the journal. This includes: the publication of a new issue; the submissions window opening/closing; details of the conference and, occasionally, carefully selected news items from our supporting institutions, namely Lancaster University and Bath Spa University. We do not sell our mailing list to third parties. Most of our reviewers have a specialist interest in writing for young people demonstrated by a research degree (MRes, MPhil or PhD) or a significant body of work as a practitioner. They are people who read scholarly work carefully and critically, but with a view to encouraging the next generation of writers and thinkers. We never ask reviewers to read more than two submissions a year.
